A community program driven by Geeveston Community Centre. It seeks to link Huon Valley fruit growers with pickers in the Huon Valley.

Get Picking will run basic induction training for its picking cohorts to train you up for farm-work. It can liaise with local farmers to arrange picking work and can help with transport to get you to the farms.

Eligible pickers may also be able to take advantage of the Seasonal Worker Incentive Scheme which allows up to $5000 of income to be earned without effecting Centrelink payments.
